A row of old willow trees on a green lawn, a wooden ceremony arch draped in white fabric beneath them

Outdoor weddings · Coeur d’Alene, Idaho

Married beneath the old willows.

A hidden lawn on an old Idaho farm, ten minutes from town, where the trees have been standing for generations and the elk still wander the far meadow.

Welcome to The Willows

There’s no ballroom here. No ceiling, no carpet, no other couple in the next room. Just a row of willows, a little red barn, and a whole open lawn that belongs to you for the day.

Our story

A hundred years in the making. Yours for one perfect day.

Back in the early 1900s, this land was a showplace farm. People came from miles around just to see it.

Most of that farm is gone now. What stayed is what mattered most. The willows, which have been growing here for longer than anyone can remember, and the small red barn that still stands in the tall grass.

Today it sits quietly on Rider Ranch in the Wolf Lodge valley. Deer and elk graze in the distant meadow. And on your wedding day, the whole place is simply yours.

The grounds

Every corner already looks like a photograph.

Say your vows under the willows, cross the little footbridge for cocktails, and dance the night away under string lights. It all happens within a short walk.

The Reception Lawn Long tables under the golden tree, string lights overhead, mountains behind. Dinner doesn’t get prettier than this.

The Pavilion A covered patio and deck with heaters, for dinner, toasts, and cool North Idaho evenings.
Golden autumn shrubs glowing at the edge of the far meadow
The Far Meadow Open fields to the tree line. Keep an eye out at golden hour. The deer and elk usually show up.
